Couscous Salad

I don’t always eat salads, but when I do, I make sure they look like a garden with flowers of all colours 😍.

Never have I ever made a wimpy+boring salad. For me to eat a salad, it has to be aesthetically very pleasing and extremely satisfying for my taste buds.

Loved today’s lunch – super delish, Couscous Salad. Such a feasty looking bowl with just about the right balance of healthy carbs+proteins+vitamins and most importantly, amazingly palatable.

What’s even more important is that my mini man loved gorging on sucha a colourful bowl of food.

How I made it – tossed in cooked couscous, cherry tomatoes, english cucumber, red onions, red and yellow bell pepper, avocado, beets and chickpeas. Tossed salt and pepper and garnished with lemon and parsley 👉🏼👉🏼good to go!

Try out this amazingly fulfilling and power packed salad and let me know if you love it.

Healthy mornings

Mornings done right for this little guy, who’s abundantly in love with coconut water.

Coconut water is by far his mummy’s fave drink too, mainly because of the lovely health benefits it offers. Extremely hydrating and a wonderful source of nutrients and antioxidants, we love to make it a part of our diets everyday.

Healthy Sunday

Keeping my Sunday healthy, after all that binge I’ve done during the wedding season; gone up on the scale so bad 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Summers and vacays don’t allow you to cover-up the over eating done during the winter wedding season.

Clean eating is the key. I try my best to incorporate veggies and fresh fruits and thankfully the kiddo is fond of them too.

These stir fry veggies are the perfect munch for my junk cravings. They fulfil my appetite and detoxify my body. Also, eating clean definitely feels great too.

How I make stir fry veggies-

Just toss any veggies you love to eat in half spoon of olive oil (you can use butter but I prefer olive oil). Add salt and black pepper and mixed herbs. Sprinkle lemon juice. Good to eat.

Miracles of breastfeeding

Don’t we have just every reason in the world to do so?!

This is proof that women are nothing less than a miracle creating the most wonderful tiny humans and striving to provide them so much goodness to grow in the healthiest possible way. Breastmilk is wonderful. It is designed to fulfil the needs of each baby in the world in it’s own special way.

Human babies grow the most rapidly in the first year of heir lives and that is when they depend wholely and solely on breastmilk to provide them with the best of vitamins, minerals and antibodies that stay with them for life.
